I’ll follow you down
’til the sound of my voice will haunt you
This Fleetwood Mac tour was different as it included Christine McVie, which meant they played more of her songs, which meant a better Fleetwood Mac show. She and Stevie and Lindsey traded moments from the opening “The Chain” to “Landslide” to “Go Your Own Way” to the show-closing “Silver Springs,” which is one of my all-time favorite songs.
The only weird thing about this show is that after “Silver Springs,” Stevie Nicks spent a good five minutes talking to the crowd. It might have signaled her way of saying goodbye, but when the lights went up, and there was no “Songbird” performed, it felt a bit awkward. Still. The Mac was back.
