Some exciting news to share today as G. Love & Special Sauce will be hitting the road in 2014 in support of a brand new album and in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut. The new album’s first single, “Nothing Quite Like Home,” can be streamed below. Ben Harper guests on the track.
Brushfire Records will release Sugar on April 22nd, and the new LP will reunite G. Love, upright bassist James “Jimi Jazz” Prescott, and drummer Jeffrey “The Houseman” Clemens for the first time in eight years. The 45-date tour, which stops at Blueberry Hill in St. Louis on April 16th, will feature a performance of the band’s first album, G. Love & Special Sauce, in its entirety during the first set at each show. A full list of tour dates can be found below.
