As we mentioned earlier, Ryan Adams will be coming to the Peabody Opera House on January 31st, playing his first solo acoustic show ever in Saint Louis. Adams was last in town at the Fox Theatre on October 4th, 2008 (listen to that show here).
The singer-songwriter from Jacksonville, North Carolina, has been playing the majority of his new, wonderful album, Ashes & Fire (read our review here), on tour, while mixing in older songs such as “Oh My Sweet Carolina,” “Come Pick Me Up,” “Please Do Not Let Me Go,” “Why Do They Leave,” “Let It Ride,” “My Winding Wheel,” and Whiskeytown’s “Jacksonville Skyline.”
And, one more thing. How is it possible that “Come Pick Me Up” is now more than a decade old?
