It’s time.
Stop waiting until next year. Stop waiting for your dream lineup. It would probably be a hyped-to-death letdown, anyway.
LouFest is happening this weekend (September 10 & 11) in St. Louis at Forest Park, and once again, ticket prices are absurdly low: $60 – 90. You’re not going to find many festivals who will let you in the gates under $100.
But enough about money.
Arrive early to hear “South City” by the Sleepy Rubies. Show up for “Dark City Dark Country” by John Henry. Soak in Frightened Rabbit’s “The Woodpile.” There’s so much more, and all the above will happen before 6 PM — in advance of Chris Stapleton, LCD Soundsystem, Ms. Lauryn Hill, etc.
Everything below happens before the sun sets as well.
