Last September, we first posted about Manchester’s The Kill Van Kulls and the band’s single, “Lost and Found.” The track is a definite earworm of the Yeasayer (you know, that irresistibly ’80s, synthy, indie-pop stuff) variety, and it quickly crept into our list of The Best Songs of 2011.
At that point, the band hadn’t released an album, or even an EP, but now we’ve got word that The Kill Van Kulls are poised to unleash more musical goodness onto the world in the form of the Songs for Sinners EP, out April 23rd. Like CeCe Peniston once sang, “Finally.”
You can test drive the entire EP via the Soundcloud player below, and don’t forget to check out last fall’s catchy-as-hell single, “Lost and Found.” Keep your eyes and ears on this foursome from across the pond, friends. They’re coming for you.
