Jill Andrews, besides being one of my favorite songwriters and humanitarians (she recently raised over $1,000 for the people hurting in Haiti), is also a master at covering songs. And for her March cover song, she has given us a beautiful cover of Tift Merritt‘s “Supposed To Make You Happy.” Check it out below.
Also, please help Jill out by voting for her song, “These Words,” which has been selected as a finalist from approximately 15,000 entries from almost 100 countries in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC). The New York Times called this “the songwriting competition to take note of…”
Here’s what you have to do to vote — straight from Jill’s mouth:
You can vote for my song, These Words, as part of The Peoples’ Voice. The People’s Voice winner is completely separate from the winners selected by ISC judges. The song receiving the most votes will win the People’s Voice. You are allowed to vote once a day for my song, “These Words.”
Voting will close at the end of the day on March 31st. Please vote every day this month and help me win the Peoples’ Voice award.
You know the drill, Rock the Vote!
