There are some bands out there who just flat out, no explanations, make me happy. The Deep Dark Woods are one of those bands; even when I’m listening to some of their quieter, darker songs, just the sound of Ryan Boldt’s warm, sad voice cheers me up immediately. So new music from the Deep Dark Woods is what keeps me going on long winter days; this is a new single, written for a movie adaption of the Nicholas Sparks novel Safe Haven, but never mind that: this song makes me happy, and I hope it will make you happy, too.
