“Lila” is the propulsive debut track from a forthcoming instrumental album called Circe that was composed for the BBC by members of Sigur Rós and Icelandic composer Hilmar Orn Hilmarsson. The music was inspired by archival footage of vaudeville, carnival and circus acts, and will be used in a BBC documentary entitled “The Show of Shows” that will be released next year. “Lila” is an exciting first entry into what looks to be a very compelling pairing of film and music.
