A couple weeks ago, we gave you a list of our 25 most anticipated albums of 2011. Lurking at the bottom of that list was Jill Andrews, you know, that sweet lil’ gal who wrote “Lonely Anywhere” as a member of the everybodyfields, and “Worth Keeping” for her first EP in 2009.
2011 is a big year for Andrews, who will release The Mirror, her first solo full-length, later this spring. Not only are we anticipating its release, but we’re pretty sure it will sound as good as gold, if the new songs she previewed at Off Broadway last December are any indication.
To help The Mirror be all it can be, Andrews started a Kickstarter campaign last month to assist in its release, tour, and everything else involved in getting the music out to as many ears as possible. What this means is that you can help — $5, $12, $25…whatever you can do. In return, your pledge will get you a goodie or two, like a handmade magnet crafted by Jill herself, or a digital download of The Mirror two weeks prior to release. Heck, if you’re expecting a big ol’ tax refund, you could even have her perform a concert in your living room. It’s up to you.
There’s three days left to help Jill Andrews and The Mirror. We’ve gladly given our pledge. Won’t you as well? Click here to share a dream or two with Jill.
