So, seeing Metric at Lollapalooza has convinced me of this: Emily Haines is a star and a total bad ass. Her band from Toronto is out on the road promoting its latest release, Synthetica, and songs like “Artificial Nocturne,” “Breathing Underwater,” and “Youth Without Youth” explode in a live setting. A lot of this has to do with Haines’ energy and willingness to engage with her audience — you won’t find a better leader of band that’s currently touring the U.S. Let’s have a listen to “Youth Without Youth” from Synthetica.
1. Simply copy and paste this into a tweet: I
entered to win 2 tickets to see @Metric on 10/2
@thepageantstl on @speakersincode. You can, too – just tweet this to enter!
2. Leave us a message on our Facebook page. (You can say anything. Really.)
3. Send an e-mail to [email protected]. Just say you want the tickets. Takes 10 seconds.
The
contest will run through September 28th at noon, and we’ll randomly
pick and contact the winner later on that afternoon (if you enter
through FB, we’ll announce your name on our FB page). Good luck!
