It’s better to burn out
than to fade away
Jonathan Demme’s new film, Journeys, which focuses on Neil Young and his 2010 solo tour, will be coming to the Tivoli in Saint Louis on Friday, July 27th. Young didn’t perform in Saint Louis on that tour, but we did catch him at The Ryman in Nashville, and, in addition playing cuts from Le Noise, he brought out the classics: “Ohio,” “Down By The River,” “Cinnamon Girl,” “Old Man,” “Helpless,” “My My, Hey Hey,” “After The Gold Rush,” “I Believe In You,” and “Cortez the Killer” were our favorites. Here’s the trailer for Journeys if you haven’t seen it.
For this contest, we’re proud to give away two official Journeys movie posters!
To enter, all you have to do is tell us your favorite Neil Young lyric (no more than two lines, please). You can do this in one of two ways (you must live in the U.S. or Canada to enter this contest):
1. Leave that lyric in a post on our Facebook page.
2. OR, Leave that lyric in a comment below.
The contest will run through July 30th at 2 PM (central), and we’ll announce the winners later that evening. Good luck!
