Just swing across the southern sky
And lift a match to my morning eyes
Well, we’ll all die young if we’re lucky babe
The Open Highway Music Festival kicked off last night at Off Broadway with a revue-style performance featuring Cory Chisel, Adriel Denae, The Candles, Space Woman, and very special guest Norah Jones. Violinist Katie Jones also joined the stage for a few songs, including a beautiful version of Chisel’s “Tennessee.”
The show was part of the “Wild Rovers” tour where Chisel and friends have been traveling from town to town, mixing up set lists, and generally having a good time.
Night two of the Open Highway Music Festival continues tonight at Off Broadway with Lucero, Kentucky Knife Fight, and Jesse Irwin.
