My Morning Jacket stormed the Peabody Opera House last night, playing a two-and-a-half hour set set that took us through their massive catalog. Jim James danced, swung his hair, and we sang along to jams like “Mageetah,” “Holdin’ On To Black Metal,” “One Big Holiday,” “Victory Dance,” “What A Wonderful Man,” “Gideon,” “Wordless Chorus,” “Circuital,” “I’m Amazed,” and “It Beats 4 U.” As usual, photographer Nate Burrell captured the magic and vibe perfectly.
