Yesterday, Saint Louis music fans were treated to a double dose of the singer-songwriter beauty that is Jill Andrews. She first did an in-store performance at local record store, Vintage Vinyl, and she played later last night at Twangfest, sharing a bill with Cassie Morgan and The Lonely Pine, Eileen Rose and The Holy Wreck, and Kelly Willis and Bruce Robison.
Check out the video we shot from her Vintage Vinyl in-store with Josh Oliver yesterday. “Sound of the Bells” is the first track off Andrews’ new album The Mirror that just came out on Tuesday. It’s one of my favorites from the bunch, for sure, but I will also tell you, Andrews’ performance of “Wake Up Nico,” a song for her son, reduced me to tears inside that damn record store.

Thanks to Jill and Josh for such a magical Thursday. Be sure to check out our friend Louis’ gorgeous shots from the in-store at Music VS Man.
